hindbrain.io stores small cookies and data in your browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). Some of them are needed for the site to work securely. Visit statistics run only with your consent.
Essential
These always run, because the site and the form cannot work securely without them. The basis is Art. 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The anti-bot check (ALTCHA) runs on our own server and uses no third-party provider.
Statistics (with consent)
If you allow the "Analytics" category, we load PostHog (PostHog Inc., PostHog Cloud EU servers in Germany). Data goes through our own domain. The tool sets no cookies, only browser storage keys. It collects pages visited, entry source and campaign parameters (UTM), clicks, page speed metrics and session recordings. Recordings mask every form field and all form text, and project space and admin pages are never recorded. The IP address is discarded. Project space access tokens are removed from URLs.

[token] is the public identifier of our PostHog project. Collected events are kept for up to 24 months, session recordings for 30 days.
Changing your choice
Change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the site footer. After you withdraw consent the tool stops collecting data and its keys are removed from your browser. You can also delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings; we will then ask for consent again.
